I have about 8 more boxes ready to go. If you know of a business that will be willing to help, and allow us to place a box, please use the contact form at the side of this page, and I will get it set up!
Here is how it works:
- Donation boxes are provided by us, and clearly labeled.
- Donation boxes are 40 to 50 gallons, but do not take up much space.
- I will leave the donation box at your location for as long as you allow, or for as long as we are receiving shoes.
- I will come by once a week, and check the donation box and collect any shoes.
- If the box happens to fill up before the week is up, (wouldn't that be awesome!?) you can call me and I will come and collect the shoes then.
- Partners are listed on our blog, and get a shout out on our Facebook page each week that the box is in place.
- We ask that you advertise the donation box as much as possible, by sharing through social media, or any other means of communication you have within your business. Newsletters, emails, flyers, etc. We are looking for men, women AND children sizes.
That's it! All shoes that are collected are inventoried, and we reach out to the local charities to let them know what sizes we have available. We then deliver the shoes to those charities so they can place them directly into the hands of the person in need.
School is starting up soon, and I am sure we will see needs increase then. Please help us to get the word out so we have shoes for kids on hand, when they are needed.
